How to update spyder to latest version in anaconda

Tried to update Spyder from version 3.3.6 to latest version 5.3.3 in Anaconda Navigator. The update runs for a while and finishes without any errors but the version still remains on 3.3.6.

I also tried to run update from the root command line terminal with following commands

conda update 

condaconda updata anaconda

conda update spyder

The commands run successfully but spyder version still on 3.3.6. Any suggestions please.
